Role overview Design, implement, and operate highly reliable network infrastructure spanning cloud and on-premises environments as a senior contributor within a Network Engineering team. The role blends deep networking expertise with cloud architecture and automation to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure connectivity in partnership with platform, SRE, and security teams.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments - Implement routing architectures including BGP, OSPF, route policies, and peering strategies - Manage hybrid networking with VPNs, direct cloud connectivity, and inter-region routing - Configure and operate Juniper networking hardware - Develop network automation using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible - Apply network security controls including segmentation, firewall policies, and access management - Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimization, and traffic analysis - Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related outages - Manage ISP connectivity including transit providers, private circuits, and carrier relationships

Requirements - Seven or more years of network engineering experience and a relevant certification such as CCNP or JNCIP - Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, routing policies, and network troubleshooting - Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, routing, switching, and load balancing - Hands-on experience with Juniper platforms including SRX firewalls and QFX switching - Ability to troubleshoot Layer 2 issues such as ARP, MAC tables, LACP, and MC-LAG - Familiarity with Kubernetes CNI options such as Calico or Cilium - Experience with hybrid cloud networking including site-to-site VPNs and private connectivity - Working knowledge of Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible - Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, runbooks, and documentation for network operations - Experience implementing network security controls, firewall management, and segmentation

Nice to have - EVPN experience and familiarity with RIPE - Good understanding of MANRS and RPKI - Experience with IPv6 rollout - Juniper-specific knowledge and Linux CLI fluency
