Role overview A remote Solutions Engineering opportunity focused on a digital experience assurance platform that helps organizations monitor and optimize connectivity across cloud, internet, and enterprise networks. The position partners closely with sales to demonstrate platform capabilities, guide prospects through technical evaluations, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers across the Texas territory.
Responsibilities - Lead technical sales engagements, including prospect discovery, demonstrations, and trial deployments that showcase platform value - Architect solution designs tailored to customer environments and present findings to technical and business decision makers - Build and sustain trusted-advisor relationships with customers throughout the evaluation and post-sales handoff process - Collaborate with product management and engineering by channeling field feedback, suggesting enhancements, and supporting beta programs - Partner with customer success teams to coordinate training, deployment, and ongoing adoption support - Contribute to marketing efforts by supporting trade shows, contributing to blogs, whitepapers, and case studies, and helping refine demo materials
Requirements - 8+ years of solutions engineering or pre-sales experience supporting enterprise technology - Hands-on experience with application and network protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP - Background designing, deploying, troubleshooting, or supporting application and network infrastructure - Familiarity with unified communications technologies and application or network performance analysis solutions - Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver technical presentations to mixed audiences
Nice to have - Packet analysis experience across network and application protocols - Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, or JavaScript - Experience troubleshooting Apple, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems
