Role overview
Lead and develop a distributed full-stack engineering organization building software for cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and observability. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, project execution, and collaboration with global management to deliver reliable platform solutions for enterprise users. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Mentor software engineers and technical leaders, supporting career growth and a high-performance engineering culture. - Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct structured reviews aligned with technical strategy and quality expectations. - Organize, track, and coordinate complex engineering initiatives through integrated delivery. - Lead and support a team of full-stack developers while maintaining accountability for execution and team health. - Coordinate U.S.-based engineers with global managers across development lifecycles. - Engage directly with customers when needed to understand feedback and help resolve business challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 8 years, doctorate plus 5 years, or equivalent professional experience. - Production experience developing front-end applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React or Angular. - Experience deploying software to public cloud platforms, including through direct implementations and cloud marketplaces. - Background in networking, network security, and cloud engineering. - At least two years of experience leading and mentoring full-stack engineers. - Ability to connect engineering work with measurable customer value.
