Role overview
A remote post-sales Solutions Engineer position focused on a developer tools platform in the synthetic monitoring space. The role sits between onboarding and long-term account growth, acting as the technical counterpart for engineering teams adopting the product. It suits someone equally comfortable writing code and running customer-facing sessions.
Responsibilities
- Own technical onboarding for new accounts: implementation, configuration, and driving the first monitoring workloads into production - Run workshops and training sessions for customer engineering teams - Serve as the ongoing technical contact in existing accounts, supporting adoption, troubleshooting, and expansion alongside the sales team - Lead independent customer meetings, from technical deep dives to account check-ins - Contribute to technical documentation and internal playbooks based on field learnings - Channel customer feedback back to product engineering and marketing teams
Requirements
- Approximately two years of post-sales technical experience in roles such as solutions engineering, professional services, customer success engineering, or technical account management - Hands-on background in monitoring, observability, or automated testing tooling - Ability to read, write, and debug code, ideally including JavaScript and Node.js - Comfort using AI-assisted coding and research tools to accelerate customer-facing deliverables - Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to travel occasionally to customer sites - Self-motivated, async-first work style, based on the US East Coast in Eastern Time
