Engagement Manager, Technology, HealthScape Payer Transformation

Role overview Lead technology consulting engagements for health plan clients, guiding work from strategy and architecture through implementation planning and execution. The role combines payer industry knowledge, technology expertise, team leadership, and senior client relationship management to turn complex transformation goals into measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities - Build and manage engagement plans that connect client goals to milestones, technical dependencies, data needs, and success measures. - Guide teams through problem solving and analysis, challenge assumptions, and develop recommendations grounded in payer operations and technology. - Turn strategy into practical roadmaps, governance, requirements, operating models, vendor decisions, and implementation plans. - Coordinate business, architecture, data, integration, platform, vendor, and delivery teams through design, execution, testing, and transition. - Develop current and target state architectures, capability maps, solution designs, and modernization plans; assess cloud, AI, automation, and integration options. - Manage scope, budget, staffing, risks, timelines, and quality; build executive alignment and coach team members.

Requirements - At least six years of healthcare consulting experience, including technology strategy and delivery. - Experience leading technology transformation across phases such as design, implementation, testing, and transition. - Strong understanding of payer operations, technology environments, and data flows. - Working knowledge of cloud modernization, enterprise AI, responsible AI, or AI-enabled workflow change. - Experience with payer platforms or comparable systems, and a record of managing engagement delivery, stakeholders, and quality. - Bachelor’s degree; strong analytical, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills. Flexibility to travel as client needs require.

Benefits and work setup Remote work is allowed, with travel as engagements require. The listed base salary range is $137,500–$180,000, with possible discretionary annual bonus.
