Senior Business Technical Analyst

Role overview

Provide senior-level business and technical analysis for operational systems, combining data engineering, reporting, requirements work, and application design. The role includes managing data exchanges with internal teams and external vendors, maintaining member outreach sequencing logic, and modernizing data processes while advising stakeholders on solutions and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and processes using tools such as Snowflake, SQL, Python, or Databricks, including migration of legacy workflows. - Manage end-to-end data exchanges with internal partners and external vendors, accounting for different file layouts and formats. - Maintain sequencing logic that uses vendor responses to determine appropriate next steps and avoid overlapping outreach. - Produce ad hoc reports and perform analysis and validation to investigate operational trends, data issues, and potential financial impact. - Consult with end users and departments to document requirements, analyze processes, design systems, and recommend technical options. - Oversee complex implementation issues, monitor project progress, and help mitigate risks to milestones and goals. - Provide subject-matter guidance, training, and support to staff on processes and issue resolution.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant technical data analysis and systems experience. - At least four years of relevant programming experience, including Snowflake, SQL, Python, Adobe, or comparable tools appropriate to the department. - At least three years of business analysis experience. - Experience facilitating system analysis, preparing design documentation and project plans, and reconciling differing stakeholder needs.

Nice to have

- At least one year of healthcare experience. - A related master’s degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience. - SAS certification.
