A cloud-focused consulting firm is hiring a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements spanning AI, cloud modernization, and data initiatives. The role sits inside a dedicated Cloud Project Management practice and emphasizes client trust, predictable delivery, and proactive communication across business and technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle using Agile methods with minimal oversight, from initiation through closeout - Build detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets aligned to statement-of-work deliverables - Negotiate scope discrepancies with customers and drive prioritization decisions to protect schedule and budget - Maintain PM compliance artifacts including health reporting, status updates, sprint reviews, and risk and issue logs - Facilitate backlog creation with clear acceptance criteria and estimates, tracking work through Agile boards such as Jira - Deliver against client business outcomes beyond the formal contract and collaborate with delivery teams to surface future opportunities
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role - 2+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services environment - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential - Demonstrated skill in forecasting, budget management, and revenue projection accuracy - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients at both business and technical levels
Nice to have
- Familiarity with infrastructure modernization, application development, or data engineering disciplines - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and technologies - AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, or willingness to obtain within 90 days - Exposure to Jira, Confluence, or comparable Agile project management tooling
