About this role

Role overview Build practical examples and guidance that help developers understand and use tools for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes optimization, and AI coding workloads. The role combines hands-on software work, community engagement, technical writing, and product feedback; it is suited to an engineer comfortable sharing work publicly and speaking with practitioners.

Responsibilities - Create tutorials, demos, integrations, build logs, and benchmarks that show how products address real developer problems. - Participate in developer discussions across community forums and open-source channels, and represent the products as a technical peer. - Gather user feedback, identify onboarding obstacles, and turn recurring issues into actionable input for product teams. - Write clear technical material such as setup guides, comparisons, benchmark analysis, and integration walkthroughs. - Speak at conferences and meetups, run workshops, and help shape technical messaging for developer, DevOps, AI, and platform engineering audiences.

Requirements - Experience building software and the ability to discuss implementation and tradeoffs credibly. - Strong technical writing skills, including explaining complex topics clearly to developers. - Comfort presenting publicly through talks, live demonstrations, written posts, and community conversations. - Ability to work with user feedback and advocate for improvements to product usability.

Nice to have - Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes and related cloud-native tools, agentic coding tools, LLM inference, or developer tooling. - Prior interest in the types of infrastructure and coding-workflow problems the products address.

Benefits and work setup - Remote-first work, with a preference for candidates based on the U.S. West Coast or able to travel there as needed. - Equity options, extra time off, and budgets for equipment, learning, and team activities. - Dedicated time for personal projects or professional development, plus access to conferences and courses.
