AI Architect

Role overview An AI Architect role within a management consulting and software delivery practice focused on financial services clients. The position combines target-state architecture design with hands-on delivery, shaping agentic AI solutions, MLOps lifecycles, and API-first integrations on a governed Azure data platform for top-tier banks and insurance organizations. The work is remote within the Czech Republic and involves close collaboration with risk, compliance, and engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities - Translate ambiguous business, AI, and non-functional requirements into scalable, secure, and governed architectures. - Design target architectures and reusable patterns for agentic AI, including memory, tools, skills, and data access. - Shape AI and MLOps lifecycle capabilities covering monitoring, tracing, evaluation, and controlled production transition. - Define API-first and MCP-based integration patterns with secure access through API and MCP gateways. - Partner with risk and compliance teams to evolve AI governance, guardrails, and data protection requirements. - Enable Microsoft Copilot capabilities such as Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder, and Copilot Studio within the target architecture. - Guide engineers and establish governance, integration, and operational patterns across delivery teams.

Requirements - Several years of experience architecting and delivering AI solutions in financial services; asset management or investment banking exposure is a plus. - Strong practical understanding of Azure AI Foundry and Databricks within governed data platforms. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot capabilities including Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, and Power BI. - Solid grasp of agentic AI architecture, MLOps lifecycle, monitoring, evaluation, and production transitions. - Experience with MCP and API-first development for secure integrations between AI services and enterprise applications. - Understanding of AI governance, risk, guardrails, access control, and data protection for high-impact use cases. - Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage.

Nice to have - Familiarity with Okta and Microsoft Purview for identity and data governance.
