About this role
Role overview
This senior engineering position sits within a growth-focused product organization that designs and runs high-impact experiments to improve how users discover, adopt, engage with, and pay for a scheduling product. The work is fast-moving, iterative, and data-driven, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability while operating with incomplete information. Success is measured by real business outcomes rather than feature delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack growth experiments end-to-end across frontend and backend systems - Improve key metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization funnels - Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and analysts to refine hypotheses and flows - Analyze experiment results and iterate quickly based on data, deciding what to keep, iterate, or remove - Contribute to the experimentation platform and growth infrastructure, extending internal tooling - Make thoughtful engineering tradeoffs, review code, and mentor teammates
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software experience, with substantial work on user growth (acquisition, activation, retention) or monetization - Strong hands-on full-stack engineering skills, independently designing, building, and shipping production changes - Demonstrated experience running product experiments end-to-end - A data-driven approach to problem solving and the judgment to balance speed and quality in a growth environment - Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces where success is measured by outcomes, not effort - Collaborative working style with the ability to partner deeply with product, design, and analytics, plus openness to feedback
Nice to have
- Clear points of view on which experiments to run, why they matter, and how to evaluate their impact - Ability to dive into data quickly to uncover growth or monetization opportunities - Ownership beyond implementation, from hypothesis formulation through post-launch analysis and follow-ups - Experience scaling growth systems or experimentation platforms in production - Hands-on familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Grape, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, TypeScript, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Argo Workflows
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-eligible U.S. role with location-based pay tiers - Annual base salary ranges between approximately $187,000 and $271,920 USD depending on metropolitan area - Full-time employees are eligible for equity awards and competitive benefits - Occasional travel may be required for company events, team collaboration, or offsites - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available at this time
