About this role
Role overview Design and deliver integrated prototypes and technical demonstrations that connect information technology with operational technology. The role spans requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, and documentation, with a focus on showing how automation, software agents, data products, and connected systems can address business needs. You’ll guide technical work, work directly with stakeholders, and help shape reusable approaches across programs.
Responsibilities - Lead discovery with stakeholders to clarify use cases, constraints, and hardware and software requirements across connected systems. - Design and build proofs of concept, prototypes, and customer demonstrations, including test plans and acceptance criteria. - Specify and implement interfaces, APIs, integrations, data flows, and orchestration across applications, databases, cloud services, and analytics systems. - Create and review architecture documents, interface specifications, test results, and reusable component patterns. - Improve a controlled lab environment through provisioning automation, configuration scripts, CI/CD routines, setup guides, and demonstration playbooks. - Lead troubleshooting and security-by-design work, present technical decisions, and support junior engineers’ integration work.
Requirements - A relevant bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of industry or related experience, or 5–7 years of experience without a degree. - Experience delivering solutions with low-code or no-code platforms, AI-assisted development, or similar approaches. - Strong grounding in IT infrastructure, networking, system administration, and multi-system integration. - Proficiency in at least two programming languages and familiarity with software development methods and code review. - Practical experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and data management, plus working knowledge of cybersecurity and secure-by-design practices. - Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, collaborate across teams, and explain technical ideas to nontechnical audiences.
Nice to have - Experience with technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, or customer-facing walkthroughs. - Ability to produce architecture diagrams such as system context, logical, or sequence diagrams.
Benefits and work setup - Travel to company or client locations may be required, up to 25% depending on business needs. - Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage, a retirement savings plan, bonus opportunities, paid holidays, and paid time off.
