About this role
Role overview Own architecture and full-stack development for new and evolving security products, working across teams and subsystems. This senior individual contributor role combines system design, hands-on implementation, and technical leadership, including products supporting offensive cyber and healthcare programs. You’ll help establish sound engineering direction while improving delivery, quality, and collaboration.
Responsibilities - Research and prototype technologies and system designs for new products. - Lead system design and substantial changes to existing systems; write design documents and record alternatives, tradeoffs, and decisions. - Build greenfield products as a primary individual contributor, with attention to maintainable, readable, extensible code. - Design and maintain secure, scalable APIs, interfaces, and integration services, including REST, RPC, and event-driven patterns. - Develop and support integrations among SaaS platforms, data sources, and external applications; troubleshoot issues and address root causes. - Improve team processes and use automation, monitoring, and engineering practices to strengthen delivery and system quality.
Requirements - At least five years of software development experience. - Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript skills, with extensive React experience; Next.js is preferred. - Experience with ORM tools and relational data modeling, including provenance tracking; examples include Prisma, Drizzle, and PostgreSQL. - Experience building durable, fault-tolerant long-running workflows with tools such as Inngest, Temporal, or equivalents. - Production experience integrating LLMs, including agent design, tool use, and evaluation. - Knowledge of external integration patterns such as publish-subscribe, webhooks, and ETL, plus strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
