IAM Security Engineer

Role overview Help design and operate identity and access management systems for a global environment, with a primary focus on Okta. You’ll work across security, infrastructure, and application teams to keep identity controls aligned with operational needs and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities - Design and implement single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and identity lifecycle capabilities. - Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes across enterprise systems. - Integrate the identity platform with cloud services, directories, and third-party applications. - Define and enforce access policies and role-based access controls, while maintaining existing identity provider instances. - Support audits, compliance work, and security assessments. - Monitor identity-related incidents and vulnerabilities, and contribute to IAM roadmaps.

Requirements - Three to five years of experience in IAM engineering or a related security role. - Strong knowledge of SAML and OIDC federation and experience with federated identity providers. - Familiarity with workflow automation, APIs, and SCIM provisioning. - Scripting and automation experience, such as with PowerShell or Python. - Knowledge of frameworks and regulations including GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOC 2. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.

Nice to have Relevant certifications, such as an Okta, CISSP, or Azure security credential, are a plus.
