About this role
Role overview Technical Support Specialist role focused on helping real estate appraisal professionals get the most out of desktop and cloud-based software. The position is fully remote within the U.S. and follows a Thursday through Monday schedule, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific, with some flexibility between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific depending on business needs.
Responsibilities - Deliver friendly, professional technical support via phone, email, and remote assistance tools - Diagnose customer issues, propose solutions, and follow each case through to resolution - Walk users through software features, workflows, and best practices - Escalate complex bugs or product issues to the development team when appropriate - Log customer interactions, tickets, and resolutions in a CRM or help desk system - Test software updates and contribute to quality assurance when needed - Help create and refine knowledge base articles, training materials, and internal documentation - Partner with sales, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure a consistent customer experience
Requirements - At least 2 years of customer service or technical support experience - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Clear verbal and written communication - Comfortable speaking with customers by phone throughout the workday - Solid computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly - Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple support requests - Self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting - Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
Nice to have - Experience supporting Windows desktop, web, and cloud applications - Familiarity with CRM or help desk platforms - Remote desktop support experience - Exposure to SQL, networking, or databases - Background supporting SaaS or business software - Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience
