Software Developer (Microsoft Power Platform)

Role overview This role supports a federal civilian agency's data management program by developing and maintaining business solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. The work spans low-code apps, automation flows, BI reporting, and SharePoint integrations that must meet federal governance, security, and active Authority to Operate requirements at a FIPS 199 Moderate impact level. It is suited to a developer who can balance hands-on coding with disciplined documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI reports within a federated enterprise cloud framework - Develop Power BI dashboards using Power BI Service, Report Server, gateways, and designated workspaces - Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL databases, SharePoint, and custom .NET applications - Maintain the SharePoint environment and supporting public-facing website components - Ensure solutions comply with federal governance, security, and active ATO requirements at a FIPS 199 Moderate level - Support user testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation of application logic, workflows, and data dependencies

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (no equivalencies accepted) - At least four years of experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform - Demonstrated work with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI - Experience integrating Power Platform with SQL databases and SharePoint - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship - Must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance

Nice to have - Microsoft Power Platform certifications - Prior familiarity with federal ATO requirements
