Director, AI Enablement & Security

Role overview Lead the cross-functional adoption of artificial intelligence across a global enterprise while safeguarding infrastructure, data, and compliance. This director-level position blends strategic business partnership with deep technical leadership, sitting at the intersection of security, IT, and AI enablement to accelerate organizational velocity without sacrificing governance.

Responsibilities - Partner with leaders across marketing, sales, customer success, HR, finance, and product to identify, prioritize, and safely scale AI use cases that boost productivity. - Chair or co-lead a cross-functional AI Governance Committee to align stakeholders on global AI initiatives, risk appetite, and ethical guardrails. - Lead, mentor, and resource multi-disciplinary teams spanning Information Security, IT, and AI enablement engineering. - Translate broad business needs into concrete technical roadmaps covering corporate infrastructure, secure AI tooling, and production safety. - Architect and own an enterprise AI FinOps framework, including spend forecasting, vendor cost optimization, and LLM API consumption tracking. - Define security standards and automated technical controls for both internal AI usage and production-grade AI features, partnering closely with GRC, Legal, and data protection teams.

Requirements - 10+ years in Information Security, IT, or Infrastructure Engineering, with 5+ years managing and scaling multiple teams (IT, Security, and/or AI/software engineering). - Demonstrated success driving rapid technology adoption and change management while maintaining rigorous compliance guardrails. - Proven ability to build relationships across GTM, product/R&D, finance, legal, and data protection functions. - Deep conceptual and architectural understanding of modern AI systems, including LLMs, MLOps, RAG, and vector databases. - Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear business narratives for C-suite audiences.
