About this role
Role overview A senior pre-sales Solutions Architect role partnering with enterprise clients in the digital-asset and blockchain space, with a primary focus on large financial institutions in the US. The position blends deep technical expertise in wallet, node/API, and staking infrastructure with commercial engagement, helping prospects evaluate, integrate, and expand their use of institutional-grade blockchain tooling. It is a customer-facing role that collaborates tightly with Sales, Account Management, and Product organizations to shape technical solutions and feed client insights back into the product.
Responsibilities - Serve as a subject matter expert on wallet, staking, and node/API offerings, guiding prospects and customers through technical evaluations, proofs of value, and implementations. - Partner with Sales Executives and Account Managers to qualify opportunities, demonstrate product fit, address technical requirements, and advance deals through the pipeline. - Lead a land-and-expand motion for large institutional clients, including scoping professional-services engagements and running tailored demonstrations. - Translate customer workflows and business needs into solution designs, and propose product enhancements where gaps exist. - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback, validate feature readiness, and continuously improve the platform. - Represent the organization at industry conferences and webinars, and produce best-practice documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical guides.
Requirements - 10+ years of total work experience, including at least 5 years in a Solutions Architect or comparable pre-sales engineering role. - Hands-on experience with multiple development languages (e.g., TypeScript, Solidity, Rust, Go), blockchain SDKs and frameworks, and major cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure. - Familiarity with the institutional digital-asset landscape and the operational and security concerns of banks, asset managers, and other regulated entities. - Demonstrated success supporting enterprise sales cycles, including scoping, proof-of-value work, and technical due diligence. - Experience engaging directly with Tier 1 financial institutions or other large, security-conscious enterprises. - Strong written communication skills, with a track record of producing technical documentation and architecture artifacts. - Understanding of enterprise security and integration patterns, including SOC 2 / ISO 27001 expectations, API authentication, and secure deployment models.
Nice to have - Technical understanding of digital-asset custody, key management, and cryptographic security, including hands-on familiarity with MPC, HSMs, or multi-sig architectures. - Working knowledge of staking mechanics, node infrastructure, and blockchain APIs across major networks such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana.
Benefits and work setup - US-based role with a disclosed base salary range of $190,000 to $225,000 (excluding on-target earnings), determined by location, skills, and relevant experience. - Globally distributed team structure with remote collaboration norms.
