Lead Solutions Architect (East Coast)

Role overview A remote Lead Solutions Architect role within Professional Services, bridging technical and business requirements for enterprise application security solutions. The position partners with pre-sales, services, product, and implementation teams to design SAST, SCA, and DAST integrations that scale to meet customer compliance needs. It combines customer-facing consulting, solution design, and mentoring, with a focus on East Coast enterprise clients.

Responsibilities - Lead solution architecture discussions and develop plans to integrate application security products into customer DevSecOps workflows. - Analyze customer environments to design tailored services that maximize product value and address compliance goals. - Identify needs for strategy consulting around AppSec programs and collaborate to scope required engagements. - Work with implementation teams to ensure solutions are delivered as designed, adapting as needed. - Build and deliver technical presentations, blueprints, and documentation for varied technical and business audiences. - Provide expert consultation across static, software composition, and dynamic application security testing (SAST/SCA/DAST). - Mentor team members and relay customer feedback to product and functional groups.

Requirements - 5+ years in consulting, solution architecture, or a customer-facing technical role, ideally including 5+ years as a software developer. - Technical background in software development or scripting, with deep SDLC knowledge. - Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and container runtimes such as Docker. - Solid grasp of container concepts (images, registries, lifecycles) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. - Experience scoping custom solutions and identifying blockers and edge cases early. - Willingness to travel up to 20%; remote, East Coast–focused within the United States.

Nice to have - Experience with application security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST) and Python scripting against REST APIs. - Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements.
