Senior AI Platform Engineer

Role overview Build and operate production AI solutions and shared platform capabilities that help teams use large language models and agents safely across enterprise workflows. The role combines hands-on software development with security, observability, evaluation, and operational standards, in partnership with architecture, data, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities - Design, test, deploy, and support AI agents and LLM applications connected to enterprise data, APIs, tools, and workflows. - Create reusable platform services, integration patterns, guardrails, and examples for secure AI adoption. - Establish controls for identity, permissions, sensitive data, auditability, and secure integrations. - Monitor and evaluate AI behavior, including quality, hallucinations, drift, failures, latency, usage, and cost; investigate and address unsafe or unexpected outcomes. - Improve model and workflow choices to balance quality, reliability, performance, and cost; apply testing, CI/CD, telemetry, and production support practices. - Assess emerging models and agent technologies, set practical engineering standards, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements - At least five years of professional software engineering experience delivering and supporting production systems. - Hands-on experience taking generative AI or LLM solutions beyond prototypes into production. - Experience with agent-based systems, such as tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation, orchestration, or multi-step workflows. - Experience monitoring and evaluating AI systems, including output quality, drift, latency, usage, and cost. - Strong understanding of enterprise security, including authentication, authorization, least privilege, sensitive-data protection, secrets, and auditability. - Experience integrating software with enterprise APIs, data sources, identity systems, and cloud services, and with modern engineering practices such as automated testing and CI/CD. - Experience with Claude in an enterprise or administrative setting, including access, permissions, integrations, governance, usage monitoring, or solutions built with it.
