Front-End Engineer

Role overview Deliver polished, accessible web interfaces for a focused, short-term project. This contract role covers the path from design and product requirements through production, with an emphasis on responsive behavior, performance, and careful implementation. You will work closely with design and backend colleagues to ship production-ready features on schedule.

Responsibilities - Build responsive, performant interfaces from design through production. - Translate designs and product requirements into maintainable, well-tested frontend code. - Attend to accessibility, cross-browser behavior, performance, and visual detail. - Coordinate with design and backend engineering to deliver features efficiently while maintaining quality. - Complete and hand over production-ready work within the agreed project timeline.

Requirements - Demonstrable frontend experience, supported by a portfolio or code samples. - Strong modern JavaScript or TypeScript skills and experience with a major framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte. - Advanced HTML and CSS skills, including responsive layout and visual refinement. - Understanding of web performance, accessibility standards such as WCAG, and frontend testing. - Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and collaborating with backend engineers. - Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work to a short schedule.
