About this role
Role overview Create React applications that make complex geospatial information understandable and useful. You will build dashboards, maps, and client-facing tools, collaborating with design, GIS, and backend colleagues to deliver interfaces that are responsive, accessible, and visually clear.
Responsibilities - Develop web applications with React and TypeScript. - Integrate mapping tools such as MapLibre, deck.gl, or Leaflet. - Build data visualization components, including charts, tables, and dashboards. - Work from design system guidance and Figma handoffs. - Improve application speed, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
Requirements - At least three years of React development using TypeScript. - Familiarity with modern React patterns such as hooks, context, Suspense, or server components. - Experience with a state management tool such as Zustand or Redux. - CSS-in-JS or Tailwind experience. - Experience testing components with tools such as Vitest, React Testing Library, or Playwright.
Nice to have - Experience with MapLibre, deck.gl, or Leaflet. - Familiarity with Next.js or Remix. - Experience with D3, Recharts, visx, or other data visualization libraries. - Contributions to a design system.
