QA Engineer, Blockchain

Role overview This position focuses on quality assurance within a large-scale blockchain and cryptocurrency technology organization. The role combines manual testing, test automation, and big data QA work to safeguard backend services that power a global digital-asset platform.

Responsibilities - Partner with developers, product managers, customer support, and external partners to deliver reliable product releases. - Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts across the full testing lifecycle. - Perform manual and automated validation of backend systems, APIs, databases, microservices, and distributed services. - Log, analyze, and report defects, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures. - Conduct performance, security, and scalability testing on backend services. - Lead big-data QA efforts, including automation framework setup, data comparison scripts, and release process improvements.

Requirements - At least 7 years of QA engineering experience with a strong backend testing and automation focus. - Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript and hands-on use of automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. - Solid understanding of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and the broader SDLC. - Working knowledge of QA efficiency tooling, AI/LLM-assisted testing, and performance or security testing. - Familiarity with tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. - Strong analytical, documentation, and English communication skills.

Nice to have - Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments. - Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
