Role overview This is a remote position for a Developer Advocate who serves as a bridge between an engineering team and the broader developer community. The role centers on educating, supporting, and amplifying the voice of developers through content, talks, and community engagement.
Responsibilities - Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, sample projects, and demos that showcase tooling or APIs - Speak at conferences, meetups, webinars, and online events to represent developer-facing initiatives - Engage with the developer community across forums, social channels, and open source projects to gather feedback - Partner with product and engineering teams to translate community insights into roadmap improvements - Build and maintain reference integrations, starter kits, or example applications that lower the barrier to adoption
Requirements - Prior professional experience as a software developer with proficiency in at least one modern programming language - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking experience - Demonstrated ability to create clear technical content for varied developer audiences - Active familiarity with developer communities, open source workflows, and common tooling ecosystems - Self-directed work style suited to a remote, asynchronous environment
