Engineering Manager, QA

Role overview This is a hands-on QA engineering leadership role inside a fast-moving blockchain technology environment. The position centers on building and improving integration testing for backend services that support a global digital-asset platform.

Responsibilities - Prepare integration test scenarios for unreleased features and changes, including hands-on investigation and confirmation. - Develop scripted Python tests that exercise integration scenarios and RESTful APIs. - Identify and prioritize weaknesses in existing integration test scripts and deliver planned improvements. - Maintain integration test environments, test artifacts, and supporting infrastructure. - Enhance the integration framework to expand automation coverage and improve reporting quality. - Build scripting tools that reliably execute test cases for backend services.

Requirements - 6+ years of backend QA engineering experience covering the full testing lifecycle. - Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments. - Scripting ability in Java, Python, Bash, or PHP. - Experience testing backend services such as APIs, databases, and distributed, non-monolithic systems. - A debugging mindset that uncovers not just what is broken but why.
