Work as a remote Elasticsearch Support Engineer helping organizations run reliable, high-performing search and analytics infrastructure. The role combines hands-on engineering, operational troubleshooting, and consulting across Elasticsearch and OpenSearch environments, including systems that support critical workloads for both large enterprises and growing companies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot Elasticsearch and OpenSearch infrastructure. - Investigate complex search, information-retrieval, and analytics issues. - Diagnose sophisticated problems by tracing behavior across distributed systems and production environments. - Help customers improve the reliability and effectiveness of mission-critical platforms. - Contribute practical engineering judgment to varied data-platform and search challenges.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience working with Elasticsearch as an engineer or DevOps specialist, rather than only as an end user. - Strong hands-on engineering ability and a record of solving difficult technical problems. - A practical, proactive approach with the persistence to carry issues through to resolution. - Ability to learn independently and work effectively in a flexible, remote environment.
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of Java. - Experience contributing to or working with open-source projects.
