Role overview
This role sits inside an independent media agency's analytics function, supporting full-funnel media planning and buying, CRM, data, retail media, SEO, and digital experience work. The Analyst will deliver reporting and analysis that connect marketing activity across channels to broader business outcomes. It is an early-career analytical position suited to someone beginning their path in media measurement.
Responsibilities
- Help shape measurement plans that map available metrics across systems and vendors - Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and visualizations, building on existing templates - Run ongoing data quality checks to ensure reporting inputs are accurate and trustworthy - Analyze media performance data, surfacing trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for planners and buyers - Partner with media planning, activation, strategy, and account teams to turn findings into clear, story-driven slide decks - Collaborate with reporting and engineering counterparts to strengthen data pipelines and automate routine processes
Requirements
- Up to two years of experience in media, analytics, or a related measurement field - A track record of academic or professional achievement - Quantitative skills with hands-on experience collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data - Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets - Familiarity with advertising platforms (for example Google, Meta, Bing) and Google Analytics - Working SQL skills for extracting and joining data - Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously - Clear written and verbal communication, including experience building presentations or research deliverables
