AI Orchestrator (all genders) – Chapter AI

Role overview A long-established endpoint management software provider is standing up a new Chapter AI unit to embed AI-assisted engineering into daily product work. The AI Orchestrator leads this transformation by directing coding agents, building the workflows and tooling that make them productive, and coaching the wider engineering organization on AI-native practices.

Responsibilities - Plan and break down software tasks, then deploy coding agents in parallel and review their output against defined quality bars. - Prepare an established C# and C++ codebase for AI use by supplying project context, architectural documentation, instructions, and a stable automated test foundation. - Translate existing CI/CD, security, and quality guardrails into formats agents can follow, such as instructions, skills, or automated checks, reusing what already exists. - Build reusable prompts, skills, custom commands, and MCP server integrations, and wire them into Azure DevOps processes and pipelines. - Coach engineers, run workshops, and share best practices so AI-assisted work becomes the default across squads. - Track impact in lead time, code quality, and developer experience, and feed insights back into the chapter roadmap together with the Chapter Lead.

Requirements - A completed university degree, ideally in computer science or a related engineering discipline. - Hands-on software engineering background with C# and/or C++, ideally on a substantial, long-lived codebase. - Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, automated testing, and code quality tooling. - Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, or model-context integrations such as MCP servers. - Ability to coach colleagues, communicate clearly, and drive change across multiple teams. - Curiosity for fast-moving AI developments and a habit of experimenting with new approaches.

Nice to have - Experience preparing legacy codebases for AI consumption, including prompt and instruction engineering for agents. - Background measuring developer productivity or engineering impact with concrete metrics.
