Data Analyst

Role overview A Commercial Analyst is being hired to sit at the intersection of data and commercial strategy within a Free-to-Play social casino and gaming portfolio. The role owns the analytical frameworks that keep multiple gaming brands growing efficiently and partners across marketing, product, and operations to ground every decision in evidence.

Responsibilities - Diagnose brand performance across a portfolio of gaming products, identifying what is working and leading growth and efficiency initiatives. - Convert data into strategy by surfacing trends, opportunities, and recommendations that shape how the business operates. - Own performance reporting, designing and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or equivalent tools so KPIs are visible and acted upon. - Build best-practice frameworks and standardise processes to raise the commercial team's analytical bar. - Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to align brand strategies with company-wide goals. - Present to senior leadership, translating data complexity into clear, compelling narratives. - Champion analytical innovation by evaluating emerging methodologies and technologies.

Requirements - Proven experience in a commercial or business analyst role shaping strategy through data, not just reporting it. - Strong hands-on SQL proficiency and experience with at least one major BI platform such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. - Demonstrable ability to build and embed knowledge-sharing or best-practice frameworks. - Solid understanding of the gaming industry, including consumer behaviour, market dynamics, and Free-to-Play or social casino metrics. - Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable writing executive summaries and presenting live to senior leaders. - Proactive, solutions-first mindset suited to a fast-moving, performance-oriented environment.

Nice to have - Experience with Python or similar languages for deeper analytical work. - Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, or predictive analytics. - Hands-on experience with advanced analytical frameworks or emerging commercial technologies.
