Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

A Business Intelligence Analyst role focused on turning complex data into actionable insights that drive client-facing strategic decisions and operational efficiency. The position blends analytics, reporting, and tool-building work, supporting accurate client reporting and ongoing improvements to dashboards and automated workflows. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the program management office to deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports on time. - Complete complex ad-hoc reports in response to client requests. - Learn and apply Vendor Management Systems such as Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and Coupa to prepare reports and use their data effectively. - Analyze data from multiple sources to deliver meaningful insights, recommendations, and conclusions that inform business decisions. - Design and enhance client-facing Power BI dashboards using API integrations to improve visualization and accessibility. - Manage and update client-facing Microsoft Power Pages to keep content current and accurate. - Design and implement automation for client production reports and related workflows, and produce rate cards and market rate analyses for new clients.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or Mathematics. - At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or market research roles. - Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying. - Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, data modeling concepts, and working with diverse data sources and APIs. - Advanced Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and solid analytical and critical thinking.

Nice to have

- At least 2 years of experience working with relational and multidimensional database schemas, including writing complex queries.
