Role overview A senior engineering position focused on building the backend systems and services that power risk decisioning, pricing logic, and data-driven product workflows. The work is backend-heavy and involves complex technical problem-solving, with close integration alongside data and analytics pipelines. The role offers end-to-end ownership of features, from concept through production, within an environment that prizes clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement of engineering standards.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver impactful features that support risk and pricing use cases, owning them end-to-end from concept through production. - Identify architectural limitations and help evolve the platform toward greater scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability, making pragmatic trade-offs along the way. - Act as a trusted technical voice by promoting engineering best practices, facilitating design discussions, and helping teams align on quality. - Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to ship high-quality solutions. - Strengthen automated testing practices, including unit and integration testing, to deliver reliable software. - Embed security and compliance considerations throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements - Solid understanding of automated testing strategies, including unit and integration testing, with a focus on reliability and quality. - A product-oriented mindset with attention to measurable user and business outcomes. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach when working across functions and contributing to engineering culture. - Proactive approach to security best practices and compliance throughout the development lifecycle. - Fluent written and spoken English.
