Workday Integration Lead

Role overview

A client-facing Integration Lead will run the integration workstream for a Workday ERP implementation, guiding a transition from PeopleSoft to Workday. The role combines hands-on technical design with workstream leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery accountability from discovery through deployment.

Responsibilities

- Lead the integration workstream end to end, covering discovery, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and issue resolution. - Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and project leadership on integration priorities, risks, and dependencies. - Direct and mentor integration developers while staying hands-on with design, development, testing, and troubleshooting. - Facilitate client discovery and design sessions, translating business and technical requirements into scalable Workday integration solutions. - Manage scope, timelines, quality, and client expectations, escalating risks and proposing alternative approaches when needed. - Collaborate with client stakeholders, functional leads, technical teams, third-party vendors, and the system integrator to deliver shared objectives.

Requirements

- 8+ years of integration consulting or implementation experience, most recently as an Integration Lead or similar role. - Demonstrated experience leading the integration workstream for a Workday implementation. - Hands-on expertise with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect. - Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to lead discovery sessions and build trust with stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Nice to have

- Workday integration certification. - Experience supporting Workday HCM and Financials implementations. - Background in higher education ERP implementations. - Prior experience supporting a PeopleSoft-to-Workday transformation.
