Senior Data Analyst

Role overview

Own analytics products and large, open-ended data projects that support both external users and internal teams. The work spans data modeling, reliable reporting, and turning complex analysis into recommendations that guide decisions as products evolve.

Responsibilities

- Lead analytics projects from defining the question and scope through delivery. - Manage data products for internal and external stakeholders, keeping their logic accurate as source data and product definitions change. - Use advanced SQL to transform large datasets and improve data reliability and performance. - Investigate unexpected changes in metrics and explain findings in clear, actionable terms. - Work with product, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to bring data into cross-functional decisions. - Review analysts’ work and share practices that strengthen the team’s technical and analytical skills.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in analytics, data analysis, business analysis, or reporting, including independently delivering projects end to end. - Strong SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, and window functions on large structured datasets. - Experience managing production SQL or database objects with Git-based workflows, peer review, testing, and CI/CD. - Hands-on experience maintaining near real-time data products in a BI or data platform. - A quantitative, business, or technical degree, or equivalent practical experience. - Careful analytical judgment and the habit of validating work before release.
