Technical Project Manager

Role overview A Technical Project Manager is needed to drive a high-priority Mainframe Transformation program, coordinating cross-functional teams through the full Software Development Life Cycle. The role centers on cloud migration to Azure and Snowflake, integrating .NET applications through modern API platforms, and delivering complex data engineering workstreams in a remote capacity based out of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end delivery for the Mainframe Transformation, data migration, and Azure/Snowflake programs, owning schedule, scope, resources, and risk control. - Coordinate data discovery, source-to-target mapping, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Snowflake ingestion while managing schema changes, dependencies, and migration cutovers. - Validate calculation parity between .NET applications and Snowflake, and drive UAT planning, defect resolution, and business-owner sign-off. - Direct integration between .NET applications and Snowflake using MuleSoft or Informatica APIs, including error handling and end-to-end testing. - Run Scrum ceremonies, manage backlogs, and track reliability priorities through Azure DevOps, while overseeing CI/CD pipelines, release approvals, and rollback planning. - Engage cross-functional stakeholders, report delivery metrics, and align execution with energy-sector regulatory obligations; oversee teams using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ensuring human review of generated code.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited four-year program. - 10+ years of technical project management experience on cloud-based enterprise initiatives, with Azure strongly preferred. - 6+ years managing mainframe or legacy system migration projects to COTS or Cloud environments. - 6+ years leading Agile/Scrum-based SDLC delivery and 6+ years hands-on with Azure DevOps, CI/CD tooling, and automated deployment workflows. - 6+ years coordinating or managing projects involving .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server. - 6+ years leading cross-functional technical teams, producing executive dashboards and project plans, and managing project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor coordination.

Nice to have - Hands-on experience reading data-flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, API specifications, and SQL validation queries. - Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, MuleSoft, and Informatica in enterprise integration contexts.
