Finance Engineer

Role overview A hybrid role that sits at the intersection of finance and data engineering, building the pipelines, dashboards, and automation that power financial decision-making and revenue operations. The position shapes how leadership plans, forecasts, and measures the business.

Responsibilities - Own unit economics by building and maintaining cost-to-serve, gross margin, and contribution models segmented by product, customer, and workload, rebuilt directly from source data - Own budgeting for the technology organization, including cloud and accelerator spend attribution, vendor and capacity forecasting, and the models engineering leadership uses to plan - Build and run finance dashboards that serve as a trusted single source of truth for burn, runway, margin, and company-level KPIs

Requirements - Strong data engineering fundamentals across SQL, Python, warehouse modeling, and orchestration - Sufficient finance and operational fluency to model revenue, cost, and margin independently - Experience building internal tools and agent workflows that non-engineers rely on daily
