AI/ML Engineer – Machine Learning, Deep Learning & AI Applications

Role overview A software consultancy is hiring an AI/ML engineer to deliver practical, production-ready AI applications for clients across a range of industries. The work spans classical machine learning, deep learning, large language models, autonomous agents, retrieval-augmented generation systems, data pipelines, and intelligent software architectures end to end.

Responsibilities - Design and build production-ready AI applications that combine ML, deep learning, and LLM-based components - Develop AI agents and retrieval-augmented generation systems integrated into client workflows - Construct and maintain reliable data pipelines that feed model training and inference - Architect intelligent software systems that balance latency, cost, and accuracy at scale - Translate ambiguous business problems into well-scoped technical approaches

Requirements - Hands-on experience building and shipping machine learning and deep learning systems - Practical knowledge of large language models, including prompting, fine-tuning, or evaluation - Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and retrieval-augmented generation patterns - Comfort designing data pipelines and production-grade software architectures - Ability to move from prototype to reliable production code with appropriate testing and monitoring

Nice to have - Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders to scope AI use cases - Exposure to cloud ML platforms and modern MLOps tooling
