Job details
About this role
Role overview A contract Business Analyst is needed to strengthen delivery and requirements capacity on a healthcare forecasting product line. The role supports an existing Product Manager while helping shape how the forecasting platform evolves into a broader strategy-intelligence experience and future AI-enabled decision workflows. It balances business analysis (requirements, documentation, methodology translation) with core project management responsibilities like backlog health, sequencing, and cross-team coordination.
Responsibilities - Maintain a healthy backlog and near-term roadmap across epics, features, and stories. - Coordinate product decisions across subject-matter experts, data science, engineering, and UX. - Translate methodology changes into clear customer-facing requirements and acceptance criteria. - Define how forecasting integrates with claims, clearinghouse, market, and decision-support data flows. - Make assumptions, limitations, and reconciliation rules visible to stakeholders through clear documentation. - Prepare product work for AI-enabled discovery, requirements, and validation, including trusted-data and semantic-modeling needs. - Support scenario modeling and experience design across platform entry points and analytics surfaces.
Requirements - Strong business analysis fundamentals, including requirements gathering and turning rough inputs into well-formed specifications. - Solid project and product management fundamentals, including backlog management and sequencing. - Ability to explain data assumptions and methodology to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience working across multiple capability areas rather than a single team. - Familiarity with AI-ready documentation and trusted analytics concepts. - Strong written communication skills. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable backlog and work-tracking tools.
Nice to have - Healthcare utilization and demand forecasting experience. - Scenario modeling background. - Strategic planning or service-line growth decision support experience. - Familiarity with Sigma or Databricks. - Prior experience embedded inside a client organization as a contract PM/BA.
Benefits and work setup - Remote US-based contract role with a posted pay range of $125,000–$145,000 USD. - Opportunity to operate as a de facto project lead, owning requirements, documentation, and story creation. - Expectation to balance multiple client engagements and actively use AI tools to accelerate delivery. - For US-based employees, the broader organization offers health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, self-managed PTO, and ongoing learning and mentorship support.
