Technical Account Manager, Azure

Role overview A post-sales technical account management role centered on Microsoft Azure for a FinTech platform that helps customers manage and optimize cloud spend through insured commitments. The position pairs deep Azure expertise with broader FinOps advisory work, partnering with engineering, finance, and infrastructure stakeholders to drive measurable business value.

Responsibilities - Own the post-sales technical relationship with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure environments, while supporting AWS and GCP as needed - Build trusted partnerships with technical and business stakeholders and document cloud architecture, financial goals, and operational priorities - Track Azure commitment coverage and utilization, surfacing proactive recommendations that increase savings and reduce risk - Advise on Azure reservation strategy, savings plan sizing, FinOps maturity, and cloud governance - Translate consumption data into executive-level business insights and lead Quarterly Business Reviews - Coordinate with Account Executives to identify expansion opportunities for additional insured commitments - Work with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve customer challenges and channel feedback into roadmap decisions

Requirements - 4+ years in Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Cloud Consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and relevant Azure certifications - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud economics, and FinOps principles - Familiarity with Azure Reservations, Savings Plans, or Microsoft Customer Agreement commitments - Demonstrated success presenting to executive stakeholders and translating technical concepts into business outcomes - Bachelor's degree and excellent written plus verbal communication skills

Nice to have - FinOps Certified Practitioner credential or equivalent experience
