Software Test Automation Engineer

Role overview Own quality assurance across the software lifecycle, helping teams identify product risks and catch defects before release. You’ll combine hands-on exploratory and structured testing with automation, and work with distributed colleagues to shape how features are tested and improved.

Responsibilities - Plan test coverage and contribute to product and project risk analysis. - Design and run test cases using static, black-box, exploratory, and other testing approaches. - Build and execute automation scripts, adapting suitable manual test cases. - Integrate automated checks into project build processes and improve testing practices over time. - Share QA feedback throughout development, including recommendations that improve the user experience. - Collaborate with colleagues across locations and disciplines on feature implementation and validation.

Requirements - At least four years of test engineering experience, including three recent years in test automation. - Ability to write test cases in JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, or Java. - Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, or Pytest. - Practical experience with test planning, case design, and execution, including web or mobile UI testing. - Familiarity with Docker-based application testing, Git version control, and Scrum or another iterative development process. - Strong communication skills in English; relevant education is expected. Senior applicants should also bring tester leadership and mentoring experience.

Nice to have - Programming skills or prior software development experience.
