Role overview A senior client-facing technology leadership role guiding enterprise consumer and entertainment brands through complex digital experience transformations. The position serves as the primary strategic technology advisor on a Technology and Account Leadership Team, shaping recommendations on tech stacks and future strategies while identifying organic growth opportunities. The role blends broad technical expertise across AI, front-end, back-end, mobile, platform engineering, and testing with executive-level client engagement.

Responsibilities - Provide strategic guidance as the primary client-facing technology leader on dedicated accounts and projects - Formulate points of view and recommendations on technology stacks and future strategies that drive transformative change - Identify and oversee organic business growth across accounts while nurturing client stakeholder relationships - Lead diverse multidisciplinary teams through Lean and Agile delivery methodologies - Collaborate across functions to align technology initiatives with business goals and manage multiple delivery squads - Identify, prevent, and mitigate technical, staffing, scoping, and client relationship risks within e-commerce engagements - Continually seek improvements to software delivery, particularly through AI-driven acceleration - Make build-versus-buy recommendations aligned with business goals at the executive planning level

Requirements - Proven track record in technology leadership building and scaling web and mobile experiences with modern frameworks - Experience overseeing delivery of digital solutions spanning customer accounts, transactions, personalization, A/B testing, real-time webhooks, and data streams - Experience leveraging AI tools, processes, and teams to accelerate software development - Deep understanding of software engineering, system architecture, and project management - Demonstrated experience providing expert guidance to clients and managing complex technology projects - Proven ability to mentor team members and foster high-performance culture in large multidisciplinary teams - Experience managing risks within an e-commerce context, including vendor selection and management - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a calm, supportive, solution-oriented mindset

Benefits and work setup Salary range of $170,000-$220,000 CAD plus potential bonus, equity, and other compensation. Hybrid/remote friendly with a preference for candidates in the Greater Toronto Area working Eastern Time hours.
