Role overview
A product manager owns the roadmap for the internal business technology that powers company operations. The role partners closely with engineering, finance, people, and other functions to deliver tools that improve how the business runs. The position is remote-friendly with required travel to hub offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize the roadmap for internal business systems such as finance, people, procurement, or operational tooling. - Gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into clear product specifications. - Partner with engineering and design through delivery, including launch, change management, and adoption tracking. - Measure impact through metrics tied to efficiency, accuracy, or user satisfaction. - Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and progress to leadership and partner teams.
Requirements
- Product management experience, ideally with business technology, enterprise software, or internal tools. - Comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across finance, operations, and engineering. - Strong written communication and structured thinking skills. - Willingness to travel periodically to hub offices for in-person collaboration.
