About this role
Role overview This is a forward-deployed engineering role where you work directly with end customers without a product manager intermediary. You translate customer conversations into buildable specifications, drive AI coding agents to implement features, then test, deploy, and verify the work in production—serving as the sole human in the loop. Insights gathered in the field flow back into the product framework through documentation, code contributions, and reusable module extensions.
Responsibilities - Engage directly with end customers to translate requirements into actionable technical specifications - Drive AI coding agents to deliver customer-facing features end to end - Test, deploy, and verify production systems independently, owning quality without a dedicated QA team - Channel field insights back into the product framework via issue tracking, pull requests, and module contributions - Operate fluently in a terminal-based, AI-assisted development workflow as the default mode of working
Requirements - Strong customer-facing communication skills: calm, clear, and accessible to non-technical audiences - Full-stack proficiency across Python and Django on the backend with React and GraphQL on the frontend - Demonstrated comfort with agent-driven development using terminal tools, AI coding assistants, and Git version control - Track record of end-to-end ownership: you ship it, verify it, and stand behind it - An active public code-hosting profile that demonstrates meaningful contribution history
Nice to have - Experience building MCP integrations or working within ERP or fintech domains - Background in early-stage startups, consulting engagements, or other forward-deployed engineering settings - Willingness to complete a hands-on contribution exercise as the first step of the hiring process
