About this role
Role overview A senior leadership role within an Experience & Insights organization, leading the User Experience practice for a data and analytics platform. The position directs four product design teams of roughly 30 designers globally and partners with product, engineering, and executive leadership to shape how AI-powered and agentic experiences show up for customers.
Responsibilities - Define and evolve the design vision and strategy across the product portfolio, with emphasis on trustworthy, explainable AI-driven experiences - Represent design in senior leadership forums, advocating for user-centered outcomes and protecting quality under commercial pressure - Build and run the operating model for a 30-person globally distributed design org, including staffing, capacity planning, prioritization frameworks, and design-ops processes - Set repeatable processes for design discovery, review, and engineering handoff so rigor does not depend on individuals - Directly manage four design leaders, coaching them to grow their teams and maintain high craft standards - Own budget, tooling, and vendor relationships supporting the design organization, and champion integration of AI across the design practice
Requirements - Extensive senior experience leading product design at scale, including managing other managers across global teams - Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped work for enterprise data, analytics, or AI-driven products - Operational depth in resourcing models, design metrics, review cadences, and tooling - Genuine point of view on designing AI-powered and agentic experiences, not just trend awareness - Demonstrated ability to operate from executive strategy through hands-on craft review - Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to influence peers without formal authority
Nice to have - Working knowledge of design systems, accessibility, and localization - Familiarity with category-leading data and analytics platforms and their enterprise customers
