Mid-level DevOps Engineer (Remote) - Brazil

Role overview

Build and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery systems that help engineering teams release software quickly, reliably, and securely. The work spans AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, service reliability, monitoring, and security, with close collaboration across development teams. This remote role is limited to people currently living in Brazil.

Responsibilities

- Plan, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines and tooling. - Provision cloud resources to meet capacity, compute, and security needs. - Improve infrastructure availability, scalability, performance, and resilience. - Investigate and resolve application and infrastructure issues. - Apply zero-trust practices and least-privilege access across critical systems. - Work with development teams on infrastructure initiatives, monitoring, and improvements to DevOps processes.

Requirements

- At least three years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering. - At least three years working with AWS infrastructure, including services such as EKS, RDS, and S3. - Practical experience with CI/CD tools and concepts. - A record of delivering meaningful results in an engineering team. - Strong engineering judgment, attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies. - A STEM degree may be helpful, but equivalent experience gained through another path is welcome.
