Sr Director, Financial Systems

Role overview Lead the strategy, architecture, and day-to-day operation of a company’s financial systems, translating Finance and Accounting needs into reliable technology. The role combines senior team leadership with hands-on oversight of systems that support close, billing, quote-to-cash, revenue recognition, and spend management.

Responsibilities - Set the roadmap and architecture for the financial systems stack, including ERP, CRM, billing, spend management, integration, and close tools. - Own quote-to-cash and revenue recognition workflows, maintaining accurate data flow and reconciliations across systems. - Lead implementations, upgrades, and integrations in partnership with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and IT. - Strengthen controls and audit readiness, with particular focus on revenue recognition under ASC 606. - Hire and lead systems analysts or administrators, and oversee vendor relationships.

Requirements - 10 or more years of progressive financial systems or ERP leadership experience, including at least four years in senior management. - Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience. - A record of delivering implementations or integrations across a multi-system finance environment. - Strong cross-functional collaboration and people leadership skills. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have - Experience with Salesforce, Metronome, Ramp, or FloQast. - Familiarity with usage-based billing and complex ASC 606 revenue recognition. - CPA, MBA, or relevant professional certifications.
