Role overview
A project management role leading end-to-end Yardi software implementations, including new deployments, module rollouts, upgrades, and data conversions. The position owns scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication while partnering with functional subject matter experts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to drive successful configuration and adoption of the platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full implementation lifecycle, including budget, schedule, resourcing, procurement, quality, and risk. - Develop and maintain the project charter, scope of work, milestones, and a RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) log, and run governance forums such as steering committee updates and recurring status reporting. - Coordinate across workstreams covering functional configuration, data conversion, integrations, reporting, training, and testing, and surface interdependencies early. - Own the schedule for the key implementation phases: discovery and business process review, solution design, configuration, data conversion, conference room pilot, user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization. - Manage change control and scope changes, including their impact on timeline and budget, and drive organizational change management activities such as training schedules, communication plans, and go-live readiness assessments. - Track project financials, resource utilization, and vendor or consultant deliverables, and ensure thorough documentation and knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience with a focus on IT or enterprise software implementations. - Direct experience managing a Yardi implementation, upgrade, or major module rollout, with familiarity across modules such as Voyager, Investment Accounting, or Debt Manager preferred. - Experience managing data conversion projects. - Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet, and with Microsoft 365, including Excel and Teams. - PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred, plus a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business-friendly updates for executive stakeholders. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities, with real estate or property management experience considered a strong plus.

- Comfort working under pressure during go-live and cutover periods and balancing business needs against technical or system constraints. - High degree of self-motivation and independent judgment.
