Role overview
Lead the design of secure, reliable, and scalable digital solution architectures, translating business needs into technical plans that development teams can implement. The work spans stakeholder discovery, architecture documentation, technology selection, integration design, and technical guidance through delivery. This is a senior or expert position requiring more than 15 years of IT experience.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze stakeholder needs, then define solution architectures and measurable non-functional requirements. - Select suitable technologies and define cloud, application, data, and integration approaches, including APIs and event-driven patterns. - Produce and maintain architecture artifacts such as C4 diagrams, API contracts, data models, deployment diagrams, and threat models. - Design for scalability, security, resilience, and observability, including identity, encryption, secrets management, logging, metrics, and tracing. - Guide development teams during implementation and conduct architecture and code reviews against enterprise and secure-coding standards. - Identify technical risks, assess emerging technologies, and explain architecture decisions in terms stakeholders can use.
Requirements
- More than 15 years of IT experience, with strong systems and software architecture skills. - Knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, middleware, microservices, API management, databases, and data modeling. - Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD, programming languages such as Java or Python, and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles and standards, networking, architecture governance, and documentation practices. - Proven experience with Axon Server, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and an API gateway such as WSO2, Amazon API Gateway, Azure API Gateway, or Apigee. - In-depth knowledge of CSDR; ability to collaborate across teams, gather stakeholder buy-in, and communicate complex designs clearly. - Must be an EU national because the work involves access to sensitive data.
