Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect

Role overview Shape application and infrastructure designs so they meet business needs and fit an organization-wide technology architecture. The role spans strategic planning and practical delivery: recommend solutions that work in the near term while supporting longer-range goals, and present designs for enterprise architecture review.

Responsibilities - Guide teams in designing applications and servers with sound engineering practices, reuse, and alignment to enterprise architecture. - Translate business problems into sustainable technology solutions. - Balance immediate project needs with longer-term architecture direction. - Present proposed designs to an enterprise architecture review group and incorporate feedback from across IT. - Encourage improved methods and appropriate adoption of newer technologies.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree, specialized training, or equivalent professional experience. - Eight to fifteen years of experience across multiple IT areas, including five to seven years in technology architecture. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have - Architecture experience on at least two large, heterogeneous IT programs. - Experience designing and implementing service-oriented architecture and enterprise services. - Broad exposure across legacy platforms, Java and .NET systems, e-commerce, and networking. - Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks. - Travel industry experience.
