Infrastructure Solutions Engineer Lead Consultant

Role overview Lead the design and adoption of enterprise infrastructure automation built around infrastructure as code (IaC). This is a hands-on engineering role that turns platform strategy into reusable modules, automated delivery pipelines, and self-service capabilities, while helping teams replace manual infrastructure work with resilient, software-defined processes.

Responsibilities - Set IaC standards, governance, and an adoption roadmap across enterprise platforms. - Build and maintain scalable automation, reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service tools. - Develop infrastructure automation with tools such as Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, and Python. - Create APIs and integrations for provisioning, orchestration, and platform services. - Automate CI/CD, testing, security, compliance, and deployment for infrastructure delivery. - Partner with platform, server, security, networking, and application teams; provide documentation, reference architectures, and training.

Requirements - Deep knowledge of IaC principles, patterns, and engineering practices, with experience scaling enterprise automation initiatives. - Strong experience with infrastructure automation platforms such as Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Env0, Puppet, or equivalents. - Software engineering practices that emphasize maintainability, testing, version control, and automation. - Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and working with Git workflows, pull requests, and code reviews. - Broad understanding of cloud infrastructure, compute, networking, storage, security, identity, and platform services. - Ability to influence engineering teams, communicate with stakeholders, and combine strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
