Role overview
Lead the architecture and technical direction of sophisticated Adobe Experience Manager solutions for enterprise digital experiences. This senior consulting role combines solution design, client advisory work, delivery leadership, sales support, and mentoring across multiple engagements. The position is fully remote within the EMEA region and may involve limited travel.
Responsibilities
- Design and guide architecture for complex AEM-centered digital marketing and web solutions. - Advise clients on technical environments, improvement opportunities, solution options, and project risks. - Translate business requirements into practical architecture, design, and development plans. - Partner with sales teams on discovery, initial technical approaches, delivery planning, scoping, and estimates. - Lead technical reviews, facilitate discussions with clients, and resolve complex implementation issues. - Mentor consultants, support onboarding, and promote knowledge sharing across teams and engagements.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience with web technologies and/or enterprise content management systems. - At least 3 years of direct client consulting experience. - Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills. - Experience leading Agile/Scrum delivery and working with sales stakeholders. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and related technologies. - Ability to troubleshoot across web servers, UNIX environments, HTTP, SMTP, TCP/IP networking, and enterprise application infrastructure. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Sling, OSGi, JCR, RESTful services, ExtJS, Dispatcher, CDNs, or AEM Cloud Service.
