Salesforce Technical Architect

Role overview

Lead enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture strategy and governance across a multi-cloud ecosystem that supports healthcare operations and value-based care delivery. The role partners with business, engineering, security, product, and operations stakeholders to design reference architectures, roadmaps, and integration patterns that align technology with organizational goals. This is a remote position, and multiple openings are available.

Responsibilities

- Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, supporting cross-functional transformation programs - Define integration patterns with enterprise patient management systems, cloud platforms, and custom applications, guiding API, middleware, and ETL design for secure and reliable data exchange - Own Salesforce data modeling, governance, and data quality strategies, aligning the data lifecycle with reference architecture patterns for scalability and reusability - Drive CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release governance for Salesforce deployments, applying cloud-native and modern DevOps practices - Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, product owners, architects, developers, and administrators, while mentoring Salesforce developers, analysts, and solution architects - Lead multi-cloud Salesforce transformations that enable unified data views and cross-functional process automation, participating in solution oversight forums - Contribute to enterprise architecture strategy using TOGAF principles and to long-term IT roadmaps and value streams

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field - 8 years of experience in enterprise Salesforce architecture and delivery - 8 years leading complex Salesforce multi-cloud implementations - 6 years in Salesforce solution design, development, implementation, and governance with a focus on sustainability and scalability - Hands-on expertise with Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and declarative Salesforce tools - Experience designing data ingestion pipelines and external integrations using Salesforce APIs, MuleSoft, and related middleware - Experience working with secure systems that handle sensitive data in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services - Proven track record leading Salesforce multi-cloud transformations that integrate Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and related platforms

Nice to have

- Practical experience applying the TOGAF framework to enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap development
